All patients should note that when the surgery is closed, they are at liberty to seek advice from NHS 111, the telephone number for which is 111.

NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help. It will get you through to a team of highly trained advisors who are supported by experienced nurses. The NHS 111 team will, where possible, book you an appointment or transfer you directly to the people you need to speak to.

This service is free to ring from either a landline or a mobile, but should be reserved for urgent calls that cannot wait until the surgery is next open, but for which an Emergency 999 call is not necessary.

Evening and weekend GP appointments now available to Waltham Forest residents
Waltham Forest residents are now able to access more evening and weekend appointments with a GP and nurse at four primary care ‘hubs’ in the borough. These appointments are delivered by Forest Integrated Health primary care network. the Lyndhurst Surgery is a member of Forest Integrated Health. The hubs are located at he Allum Medical Practice 26 Fairlop Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 1BN :

Accident & Emergency Department:
(A & E or 999)

A & E departments are an Emergency service and are very busy. They should only ever be used in life threatening situations.

Please note that if you use the A & E department or call ambulances inappropriately you are endangering the lives of peoples who need their services.

Patients who use A & E and call ambulances inappropriately may be asked to leave our list.
